That’s it, TechnoMontréal finally has a Facebook group. After several months of exploration and reestablishing links with friends throughout the world, Laurent gave me the kick in the rear to get TechnoMontréal on Facebook!
Join the group. It’ll be the place to find out about TechnoMontréal’s latest news, our upcoming events and to make contact with people from Montréal’s ICT industry.
Our first event has been announced through the group: the next TechnoMontréal Happy Hour. It will take place next Wednesday, the 16th of April at le Quartier.
We’ve slightly changed the format of our Happy Hours. They remain an informal meeting for people in Montréal’s ICT industry: a place to meet, have a drink together and share ideas. But we’ve decided to introduce a topic per month: either to present a project, highlight a company or TechnoMontréal partner, discuss a topic that affects our industry, etc. As well, we have a reserved area set aside for us in the restaurant that will favour meetings and discussions.
This month’s Happy Hour will feature a short presentation by Christian and Laurent of VidéoPresse. Come learn the secrets of an effective web video communications strategy!

Selon les chiffres fournis, Facebook rejoint 1/2 Canadien. On ne sait pas ce que deviendra ce site dans un an, pour aujourd’hui c’est définitivement un des outils de communications les plus efficaces.
Alors bravo pour le groupe Facebook de TechnoMontréal. J’invite tous les facebookiens de la grappe des TIC à rejoindre ce groupe. Et je suis sûr qu’ils sont nombreux.
